Almond Peel Stew

Ingredient: (For 4 persons)

- Calf meat: 700 gr.
- Peeled almond: 100 gr.
- Onion: one average or middle size onion,
- Dried lemon: desired amount,
- Black barberry: 1.3 cup,
- Saffron and salt: to desired amount,
- Tomato paste: 2 spoons,

Method of Provision:

Soak almond peel hours before in a container filled with water. Meats also should be cut into pieces in small size.
Then, onions are cut into pieces and heated in a slightly oil. After a few minutes, meats are added and heated for a few minute as well. Saffron solved in hot water is added to this mixture. Then, three glass of waters along with almond peel is added to the container and let meats and almond be baked slightly.
Heat barberries and tomato paste in a little oil half a quarter before completion of baking. The content along with dried lemon is added to the contents.
This stew is of native stew of Kermanshah which is served at feasts and ceremonies of the city.
