This company was founded in 1972 by Mr. Seyed Mohammad Shahri, present chairman of the board of directors, for the purpose of cultivating, processing and packing saffron.
Electing Mr. Seyed Javad Shahri as managing director of the company, implementing fundamental changes and strategies to enhance the company's products quality and on the other hand promoting the methods of supplying saffron to domestic and international markets, Shahri Saffron Company was succeed to obtain sanitation code and production license no. 11.032 from Khorassan Supervisory Department for Food Stuffs and Sanitary Products.

 

 

Also, having well equipped laboratory specialized for saffron and conducting proper tests prompted this company to obtain two Standard Certificates in 1999 and 2000 from Khorassan Standard and Industrial Researches Institute, one of the supervisory departments to control and guarantee the quality of food stuffs in Iran. Obtaining HACCP Certificate from German TUV Company in 2000, this company's products were guaranteed, afterwards, using advanced control and management systems, this company obtained ISO 9002 from British URS Company.
At the present time this company and its skillful and well experienced staff have the honor to present its more than 150 guaranteed products to domestic and international markets using precise quality and management control system.
